The University of Telafer is located around 45 miles east of Mosul, the second biggest city in Iraq. It¡¯s situated in Tal Afar, a small city in the Nineveh Governorate of north western Iraq.
The university was established in 2014 and is a non-profit public higher-education institution.
It offers courses in a range of subjects including design, arts, humanities, business, politics, social sciences, linguistics, nursing, health, pharmacy, medicine and engineering among others.
The university is officially accredited by the Ministry of ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ & Scientific Research of Iraq.
On campus students will find a variety of academic and leisure facilities including a library, student accommodation, sports facilities and administrative services including financial aid offices.
