Universitas Sultan Agung Islamic University popularly is an Islamic university located at Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. The university was established in 1962, and was named after Sultan Agung, the third Sultan who ruled Mataram Sultane from 1613 to 1645.
It offers more than 31 undergraduate programmes, seven graduate programmes and three doctoral programmes in fields of medicine, dentistry, engineering, law, economics, Islamic studies, nursing, industrial technology, language and communication, education, and psychology.
The university has research institutes including the Institute of Human Resources Development, Institute of Research and Community Services, Institute of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, and the Institute of Learning and Application of Islamic Values.
