Founded in 1965, Siam University (then called Siam Technical College) is based in Phasi Charoen District in Bangkok. It was first built as a three-year private engineering school.
Initially, it offered just one programme, mechanical technical power, and it was only in the 1980s that it started offering a diverse range of fields.
Students can study both undergraduate and graduate programmes across 13 faculties including: public health, pharmacy, science, nursing, business administration, music and performing arts, engineering, law, political science and information technology.
For convenience, Siam University offers various programmes and courses, available as both day and evening classes.
On campus, students have recreational centres, computer rooms, music and dancing rooms, laboratories and a library.
Whether students are interested in dance, singing or sports, there’s something to suit everyone.
In an attempt to be more sustainable, Siam University has adopted certain measures such as solar panels across the campus.
Since 1995, Siam University has held partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad. These relations have also paved the way for faculty exchange and advanced research opportunities. There are currently over 400 international students enrolled from more than 15 countries.
