The OfS is the statutory regulator for higher education in England. We are looking to fill a vital ‘Head of’ role within our Regulation directorate as part of our senior team.

These roles lead our frontline regulation with a broad remit. They have responsibility for a significant portfolio of work across equality, diversity and inclusion, skills and pathways, funding, student information and engagement and conditions of registration.?

The role we are recruiting to now has a particular focus on:?


	Pathways and skills policy, including the implementation of the LLE and managing and distributing OfS recurrent and capital funding to higher education providers ?

Regardless of the focus of your portfolio, you will be an experienced leader of people and able to demonstrate an ability to motivate, develop and deliver exceptional results through people across an organisation.?

You will be comfortable making complex risk-based decisions, often in novel circumstances, and will be able to quickly grasp the regulatory and legal frameworks under which the OfS carries out its duties. You will understand the role and value of a regulator and, regardless of your professional background, show an understanding of how effective regulation works in practice. ??About the Role?

We are seeking a Regional Manager (Australasia, Americas, Europe and Projects) who can make a high-level contribution towards Flinders International student recruitment in collaboration with the broader International Recruitment team, International Portfolio, College teams and broader University to ensure the University meets its strategic objectives and targets.

As the Regional Manager you will be leading the development of recruitment plans and new initiatives to attract prospective international students to study at the University, with a strong emphasis on developing a positive team culture, personal and professional development and recognition of results orientated achievements. You will also be representing the University at relevant events (forums, international recruitment events & roadshows, etc.) at local, national, and international levels.

About You?

The ideal candidate will have completed a degree and have extensive experience, preferably in international education or marketing areas, or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training.

To be successful in the role of Regional Manager you will demonstrate effectively working in a team and autonomously and have


	Highly developed interpersonal and oral communications skills, including cross cultural communication skills.
	Managing high end customer service delivery to clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders to support promotion of the University within designated recruitment markets.
	Experience in, and extensive knowledge of relevant frameworks and practices related to working in an international environment preferably international student recruitment and promoting international education.
	High level of written communication skills and evidence of report writing discussion papers and business plans.
	The ability to provide innovative solutions relating to business problems and new business opportunities and the experience in the use of technologies associated with this role.
	
	Ability to effectively manage a budget.
	


The position may require you to undertake interstate and international travel as required, including an expectation of working outside normal hours with restrictions on taking leave during peak work periods.

Role & Responsibilities:

You’ll be providing a professional and effective administrative and receptionist service to the Centre for Wellbeing and Student Wellbeing and Disability team and wider directorate.

Acting as first point of contact, you’ll act on all incoming correspondence and enquiries by ensuring appropriate action is taken, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and providing a seamless, positive experience for clients.

Other responsibilities include:?


	Administration of the service databases, ensuring that client records are kept up-to-date and that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
	Providing IT support for the team and ensuring that the CWB premises and IT systems are maintained at a high standard through liaison with Estates and Facilities and IT Services.
	Assist in the general clerical duties of Student Wellbeing such as photocopying, scanning, faxing and filing; answering phone and email enquiries.
	Provide reception and administrative support for all members of the Student Wellbeing and Disability Team, to include secretarial duties, such as organisation of meetings (booking rooms, catering and minute taking), and any other health related activities run by the team.
	Assist in the processing of the department’s financial transactions including: processing invoices; internal and external orders; expense claims; and other financial forms, whilst maintaining accurate records and supporting the production of financial reports as required.
	Support the wider Student Wellbeing and Disability department with administrative assistance as required.

We are looking for a part-time Climbing Duty Officer to join the team covering all our opening hours, including weekday evenings and weekends. If you have an upbeat, energetic personality, you will find yourself in good company at Surrey Summit.

As a Climbing Duty Officer, you will run sessions across all ages and ability levels, including Squad programmes and GCSE PE sessions for school groups. You will also be booking customers onto these sessions, all as part of a dedicated team of Instructors, receptionists and other Duty Officers. You will have regular opportunities for route setting on our roped and boulder walls. You will be a point of escalation for day-to-day problems the freelance team members might face, reporting back to the Climbing Duty Supervisor should anything require further escalation. Furthermore, you will oversee a specific area of responsibility tailored to your skillset to grow and develop under the guidance of the Climbing Duty Supervisor.
