Margulan University, located in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, was founded in 1998, and named for the Kazakh composer and musician, Margulan Saiyinbaiuly. Its mission is to “form the pedagogical elite” of the republic of Kazakhstan.
The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees across the faculties of business administration, economics, computer science, engineering, humanities and the social sciences.
A campus university, Margulan’s facilities include on-site dormitories, as well as well-equipped laboratories and advanced research centres. Its library houses an extensive collection of books, journals and digital resources.
Margulan offers students a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports clubs, cultural and arts societies, an environmental club and an entrepreneurship society.
