This fellowship is designed to provide advanced training in clinical and translational research, focusing on the understanding and treatment of movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other related conditions. The successful candidate will work under the mentorship of leading experts in the field, contributing to innovative research projects aimed at improving patient care and advancing scientific knowledge in movement disorders. Qualifications
The department seeks a scholar with expertise in the politics of Mexico or Central America broadly understood. We are open on theoretical and methodological approaches and welcome scholars trained in comparative politics or international relations. The successful candidate's geographic scope of research will focus on one or more countries in the region while substantive topics can include, but are not limited to, the politics of inequality, development, indigenous politics, environmental politics, state/society relations, immigration/migration, militarization, social movements, or human rights. The successful candidate will have sufficient expertise to teach and mentor on the politics of Mexico.As part of a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) located on the US-Mexico border, we value research and teaching that are grounded in the politics of neighboring countries that have deep historical, economic, and political ties to the US and to Southern California. About the job

Cyber Physical Systems are integral to Critical Infrastructures; however, their architectural and operational features are inadequately represented in current cyber ranges. These ranges are often limited in scope or intentionally focused on specific sections of target systems. The intended utilization of the physical reference environments examined, modeled, and integrated in this study will serve two purposes. These include functioning as educational and outreach demonstrators, as well as serving as experimental platforms for research and training endeavors. ?The research will be carried out within the context of?SFI NORCICS, the research-based innovation Norwegian Center for Cybersecurity in Critical Sectors. These sectors include electricity production and distribution, oil & gas production and distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, industrial production, smart districts. NORCICS follows a holistic, comprehensive and systemic approach addressing people, processes and technology to protect critical sectors throughout the cybersecurity core functions (identify, protect, detect, respond, recover). NORCICS has partners from academia, research, the public sector and the industry.

Duties of the position


	The PhD candidate will work on challenging research problems related to developing a configurable and expandable service oriented core architecture for a cyber-physical range that uses real, simulated and emulated components of critical infrastructures and cyber physical systems, integrating both IT and OT components, along with the development of suitable educational and training material.?
	The work will also include the development of realistic attack scenarios and the relevant simulation mechanisms with a focus on selected critical infrastructure sectors, as well as relevant education and training material for the use of the proposed system within those scenarios, with the targeted audience being critical infrastructure operators.
	Undertaking the necessary courses (30 ECTS) as part of the PhD programme.
	Submitting an application for admission and a research plan no later than 3 months after the employment.
	Conducting high quality research and report progress on a regular basis and in agreement with the supervisors

	You must have a professionally relevant background in Information security, electrical engineering, electronic engineering and/or Computer Science.
	Your education must correspond to a five-year Norwegian degree program, where 120 credits are obtained at master's level
	You must have a strong academic background from your previous studies and an average grade from the master's degree program, or equivalent education, which is equal to B or better compared with NTNU's grading scale. If you do not have letter grades from previous studies, you must have an equally good academic basis. If you have a weaker grade background, you may be assessed if you can document that you are particularly suitable for a PhD education.
	You must meet the requirements for admission to the?faculty's doctoral program.

Salary and conditions

As a PhD candidate (code 1017) you are normally paid from NOK 532?200 per annum before tax, depending on qualifications and seniority. From the salary, 2% is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.

The period of employment is 3?years.

Appointment to a PhD position requires that you are admitted to the PhD program\me in?Information Security and Communication Technology?within three months of employment, and that you participate in an organized PhD programme during the employment period.

The role

We are seeking an exceptional Administrator to take up the post of Senior Administrative Officer, within the Operations team for the School. Administrative requirements include meeting organisation and support, travel coordination, finance processing, tracking annual leave, managing and monitoring resources (keys, stationery, first aid kits etc). ?As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will take the lead on designated events and conferences, working alongside the School’s Operations team; this might include Surrey New Writers Festival, Surrey Poetry Festival, Book Launches, Visiting Lectures, Applicants days and supporting student led events. ??

About you

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with excellent organisational and administrative skills. Ideally, you will be familiar with, or will have experience working in, a HE environment, and experience of managing diaries and coordinating events and activities. You will enjoy working autonomously whilst also being a team player. You will be able to manage your own workload, often with conflicting demands from a wide range of colleagues. ?The post holder will work closely with academics as well as professional services colleagues and students, covering a wide range of subject areas. ?
