Study in France

France really does have a little bit of everything. A unique cuisine, a rich and diverse culture, fascinating history and architecture as well as stunning scenery - all of these features help to make up one of the world’s most popular countries in which to study. The chic capital Paris is a place of grandeur and opulence, with world-famous landmarks dotted throughout the city: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral - it’s no wonder that millions of people come to visit each year.

The city is also home to two of Europe’s leading institutions, namely Ecole Normale Superieure and Ecole Polytechnique ParisTech, while Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux are just a few of the other French cities that host world leading universities. France’s variety is hard to take in – each of its 22 regions offers something totally different. There’s the skiing and snowboarding in the Alps and the Pyrenes, the vineyards in Champagne and Cotes du Rhone, the splendour of the iconic French Riviera, the winding valleys and sleepy towns along the Dordogne, the Mediterranean beaches, Parisian cafes, the Tour de France, the cheese – you really need to experience what France has to offer to really understand it.

With one of the world’s leading education systems and an increasing number of courses being taught in English, there has never been a better time to study in France. France’s long history is matched by its position as a leader in cultural and intellectual development throughout the centuries, meaning that it has a long list of famous sons and daughters. Voltaire, Nostradamus, Camus, Chanel, Sartre, Debussy– all these famous names have had an enormous impact on their respective fields.
