Labour Party leader Tony Blair was pushed for a commitment to remove "waiver clauses" for staff on temporary contracts at the Scottish Trades Union Congress last week. The Association of University Teachers Scotland want staff to have the right to statutory redundancy or to make unfair dismissal claims.
