The framework of the Commission of Inquiry into the future of the University of Oxford was published this week. The commission will look at governance, the future of the colleges and resources, the support of teaching and learning, the organisation and support of research, the structure of academic duties and appointments and Oxford's overall position in the light of changes in higher education.
